Drill in the Air League is designed to promote self discipline (a necessity for pilots), teamwork and leadership. there are various units of Air League drill. Some basic examples of these include
Section
A Section comprises of 5 cadets and 1 NCO in charge. It is the smallest drill unit.
Flag Party
A Flag party comprises of 6 cadets and 1 NCO in charge. A Flag Party usually contains the best cadets from the squadron.
Flight
A Flight comprises of 18 cadets and 1 NCO in charge. A Flight represents 3 sections.
